Hildanies Colón is a Coordinator, for the Clark County School District’s Equity and Diversity Education Department. Mrs. Colón actively aides in the District’s cultural competency, gender diversity, and bullying/cyberbullying prevention/intervention initiatives.
Hildanies Colón began her career in education in 2002 in Ponce, Puerto Rico as a Middle School English/Publications teacher. When she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2006, she served in various roles inclusive of an English Language Learner Specialist, a mentor, a coach, an educator, and a coordinator.
Ms. Colón has participated in the Public Education Foundation’s Executive Leadership Academy and received national certification by the Intercultural Development Research Academy. She earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Education from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Ponce in Puerto Rico and her Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
When Hildanies Colón is not working, she is spending time with her family.
